ABOUT

Alexander Rose is a public Elementary school serving a diverse group of about 550 students in grades TK - 6.

Our support staff of over 50 teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, food service workers and administrative staff all work with your students to achieve high academic and social standards and to develop personal and community responsibility.

Alexander Rose and his family were early settlers of Milpitas in the 1800's. Alexander Rose ran Rose's Shell Auto Parts and Hardware, which was opened in the 1920's as Overland Motor Company dealership and owned by one of the Spangler brothers. Alexander Rose Elementary School opened in March of 1959 and was formerly known as Milford Village School.

Alexander Rose Elementary School's mission is to provide a nurturing foundation which includes the opportunities and guidance to all students so that they mature into self-fulfilled, productive, and responsible citizens in a changing world.
