After School Programs
After School Expanded Learning Program
The State-funded After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program encourages collaboration between the school district, school site, and community-based organizations. Milpitas Unified School District has entered into an agreement with Right at School (RAS) to operate after school programs at Rose/Randall Elementary offering academic assistance, enrichment activities and recreational activities in a safe, supervised environment from the release of the school day until 6:00 p.m. each school day.
The collaborative nature of this grant encourages the creation of after school programs that meet the needs of the schools and its stakeholders, parents, youth, and representatives from schools, governmental agencies, individuals from community-based organizations, and the private sector.
