After School Programs
The YMCA/ASES Program is offered onsite to Rose students in Grades TK-6 from dismissal time until 6:00 PM on days when school is in session. Space is limited and priority is given to students and families based on need.
Priority is given to students who qualify for Free/Reduced lunch, Foster Youth, Homeless Youth, English Learners other criteria designated as priority by the state for the ASES grant program
Families must commit to having their child participate in the YMCA program all 5 days each week from the time school is dismissed until at least 5:00 PM. Students who are frequently absent or leave early may be dropped from the program to accommodate students who can meet this requirement.
Students will be expected to follow all Rose School student expectations for behavior throughout their participation in the YMCA program and will be subject to the school discipline policy at all times during their participation.
Please note that completion of the interest form does not guarantee enrollment in the YMCA program - families of students who are accepted into the program will be notified in August. and YMCA enrollment forms will be provided for parents to complete at that time. YMCA Enrollment forms for those students must be completed prior to the first day of school in order to secure their child's space.
For the 2022-2023 School Year we are currently creating an interest list for the YMCA Program. If you would like your child to participate please complete the interest form and submit it to the school office or via email to npass@musd.org
