This month, our Rose Tigers are learning about Compassionate Communication- expressing ourselves with kindness, empathy,1 and understanding. We’re focusing on how our words and actions can build bridges, lift others up, and create a school where everyone feels valued and heard.
To support this learning, we are studying John Lewis, a courageous civil rights leader who believed deeply in the power of peaceful words and actions to create lasting change. He taught us that we can disagree without disrespect and that our voices matter when we use them with love, courage, and care.

Students who model Compassionate Communication will be celebrated at our ROAR Rally on Friday, December 19. Families of honorees will receive invitations soon.
