🐯 November Core Value: INCLUSIVITY 🌟
This month at Rose, our Tigers are learning about Inclusivity- welcoming everyone, celebrating differences, and treating each other with kindness and respect. To help us understand what inclusivity looks and feels like, we are learning about Temple Grandin, a scientist, inventor, and professor who has autism. Temple thinks in pictures, and she used her unique way of understanding the world to design kinder, more compassionate systems for caring for animals. She reminds us that every brain is different- and that those differences are strengths!
Key Message for Students:
✨ We all learn, think, communicate, and express ourselves differently- and that is something to celebrate!
You can continue the conversation at home by asking questions like:
- What makes you you, and why is that special?
- How can we make sure everyone feels welcome on the playground or in class?
- How do we show kindness to others who may learn or think differently from us?
🏆 Core Value Awards:
Students who model Inclusivity throughout the month will be recognized at our ROAR Rally on Thursday, November 21! Families of award recipients will be notified directly. We can all help make Rose a place where every Tiger belongs. 💛
