💙 Love Milpitas Community Day – Saturday, September 27
Rose is proud to partner with Love Milpitas for a day of service and campus beautification. Projects will include:
🎨 Painting our lunch area pillars to look like pencils
🌱 Preparing our garden for the Pumpkin Patch
🚶‍♀️ Adding sensory walkways for students
We especially need experienced painters and volunteers willing to help with cleanup and gardening. Join us at 9:00am—let’s make Rose shine even brighter!

🎉 Fall Spirit Week – September 29 to October 3
Get ready, Tigers—it’s almost time for Fall Spirit Week! Even though we’ll be on minimum day schedule, we’ll still celebrate each day with fun themes:

• Monday: Crazy Hair Day
• Tuesday: Hat Day
• Wednesday: K-Pop Day 🎶 (Don’t miss our K-Pop Demon Hunters Sing-Along and Labubu Lunch Raffle!)
• Thursday: Fandom Day (wear gear that shows pride in ANY of your favorite things- books, movies, sports, shows!)
• Friday: Tiger Pride 🐯 (wear Rose gear or school colors—maroon, black, and white)

🚗 Morning Parking Lot Safety
Please remember that the staff parking lot is an active parking lot during morning arrival. If you are walking through the lot or dropping students off nearby, be aware that cars may be driving in or parking. For everyone’s safety, stay on the sidewalksand use designated crosswalks and drop-off areas. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!

🙋 Room Parent Program & Volunteer Opportunities
We’re excited to launch our new Room Parent Program this year!
A Room Parent is a parent volunteer who serves as a liaison between the teacher and other families—helping with communication, classroom events, and volunteer coordination. Responsibilities vary by class, but may include:

• Helping to plan and organize classroom parties and events
• Coordinating volunteers for school activities
• Supporting fundraising for class supplies or teacher gifts
• Relaying information between the teacher and parent community

This role can be filled by one parent or shared by a team!
Volunteer Training will be offered in person, online, and recorded to fit your schedule. If you are interested in volunteering:

👉 Use the attached paperwork to get started
Our ONLINE session to discuss Volunteer Opportunities and expectations will be held next Thursday, September 25 from 6-7PM. It will be recorded for you to watch later if you cannot attend.
