Activities and Extended Learning

Spirit Leaders
Sixth grade students may apply for Spirit Leader in the fall. Six students are selected by a staff panel. Spirit leaders are responsible role models who assist the school in a variety of service activities.



Conflict Manager Program

The Conflict Manager Program is a leadership program in which students help build a positive learning atmosphere for themselves and others while assisting fellow students. Students from 4th through 6th grade are trained to assist fellow students in positive social interaction. The Conflict Manager Program is intended to help young people communicate more effectively, solve problems, make decisions more efficiently, and assume more responsibility for their actions.


Valet Program
The School Valet Program is a service organization that assists Rose School students with drop-off and pick-up in front of the school. Students in grades 5 and 6 are eligible to apply for membership. All students and parents are expected to cooperate with the student Valets.
